Children from the school belong to the Prao tribe and speak their own language. With the help of Community Teachers, the students are learning in their own language and Khmer, the national language of Cambodia.

With the help of Community Teachers, the students are learning in their own language and Khmer, the national language of Cambodia. With command of the Khmer language, students may have better educational and economic opportunities in the future.


At UWS Pa Yang Sieng Sai, we have introduced playful, project based learning pedagogy in the school and we will continue to train the teachers in this to give the students as interactive a learning experience as possible.
