In May 2023, UWS Cambodia spent a week conducting transition training in Koh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. The participants were from Srae Tah, Keo Ropov, Norng Bou and Ro Vek schools. We had closely cooperated with the Department of Education and Sport of Koh Nhek about the procedures and agenda of transition between UWS and the school.
In that meeting, the Education Team focused on headteachers’ capacity building, the Community Development and SSC Coordinator delivered School Support Committee training, and the Building Team covered school repairing, to ensure the schools are ready before their transition in December 2023. As a result, 110 participants joined the 5-day training to better understand about the school transition procedure.
